By booking, purchasing, or receiving a service from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Nature of Our Services and Legal Disclaimer

A. For Entertainment Purposes Only

In accordance with California legal requirements and best practices for metaphysical services, all Tarot Counseling, readings, and spiritual guidance provided by Owl Eyes Tarot are for entertainment purposes only.

B. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

Our services are designed to offer insight, clarity, and personal reflection. They are not a substitute for professional, regulated advice or services. Owl Eyes Tarot and its counselors are not licensed professionals in the following fields:

  • Medical or Health: We do not diagnose, treat, or offer advice for medical, psychological, or health conditions. Always consult a licensed medical or mental health professional for any health concerns.

  • Legal: We do not provide legal advice. Consult a licensed attorney for all legal matters.

  • Financial: We do not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Consult a licensed financial professional for these matters.

  • Other Professional Advice: Any guidance given should not replace the expertise of an architect, engineer, business consultant, or any other qualified professional.

You acknowledge and agree that any actions or decisions you take after a session with Owl Eyes Tarot are based on your own free will and personal responsibility, and not on the advice, guidance, or interpretation provided by the counselor.

C. No Guarantee of Outcome

The future is fluid and subject to change based on your choices and the actions of others. Owl Eyes Tarot makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information or advice provided, or the success of any action you may take as a result of a reading.

2. Client Responsibilities and Conduct

A. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase and receive a Tarot Counseling service from Owl Eyes Tarot. By booking a service, you warrant that you are 18 years of age or older.

B. Confidentiality and Limits

Readings are generally confidential. However, you acknowledge and agree that Owl Eyes Tarot may be legally required to disclose information if there is a threat of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law (e.g., in cases of suspected abuse or crime, or by court order).

C. Refusal of Service

Owl Eyes Tarot reserves the right to refuse or terminate a session or service at any time, without prior notice, if:

  1. The counselor feels they cannot provide a helpful or ethical service.

  2. The client is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  3. The client's behavior is hostile, abusive, or threatening.

  4. The client is asking questions that violate our Code of Ethics (e.g., on health diagnosis, specific legal/financial outcomes, or on the private affairs of an absent third party).

If a session is terminated by Owl Eyes Tarot for inappropriate client conduct, no refund will be issued.

3. Booking, Payment, and Cancellations

A. Booking and Payment

All services must be booked through the scheduling system on this website and paid for in full prior to the start of the session.

B. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • Client Cancellation: You may reschedule a session up to 48 hours before the scheduled time once. You may not cancel your session for a refund.

  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to appear for a scheduled session (a "no-show") without prior notice, you forfeit the full payment for the service.

  • Business Cancellation: In the unlikely event Owl Eyes Tarot must cancel a session, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

C. Refunds

All sales are final once the service has been rendered. Refunds will not be issued after a reading has been completed based on dissatisfaction with the content or outcome, as the service is for entertainment and guidance purposes only.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Owl Eyes Tarot, its owners, employees, and counselors from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services, including any decisions or actions you take based on the information provided in a Tarot Counseling session. The total liability of Owl Eyes Tarot for any and all claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

5. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

A. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

B. Jurisdiction

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Bergen County, New Jersey. You consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

6. Changes to Terms

Owl Eyes Tarot reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The date of the last update will be noted at the top of the page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
